- Dean Lawford

Dean Lawford is a rugby league half back for Dewsbury Rams. He has played for Sheffield Eagles, Leeds Rhinos, Bramley Buffaloes, Huddersfield Giants, Halifax, Widnes Vikings, Dewsbury Celtic, and Batley Bulldogs.
He began his career at Dewsbury Moor Amateur Rugby League.
In his leisure time, he likes having a reet nice pint or ten of Sam Smith's down at Batley Irish Nash with his mates Wayne Flynn, Bones Maloney, Si, Patch and Daz. He would have been the natural successor to Andy Gregory as Great Britain scrum-half but he never had his head screwed on and he blew it.
BBC Rugby League commentator Ray French has nicknamed him 'Little Napoleon' and his former coach Neil Kelly questioned why the Great Britain coaching staff hadn't knocked on his door.
