Anabelle Munro is a German actress, singer and writer. She performs predominantly in Independent Film and Theatre productions and is stationed in Berlin, London and New York.

Anabelle Munro is a German actress, singer and writer.Born in birth year and age|1978 as Anabelle Dorothee Klein, she gathered her first experiences on stage in her hometown Speyer at the Old City Hall / Theatre Speyer where she worked as an actress and director in several fringe productions. After completing her A-Levels at the humanistic gymnasium, the Theatre offered her a director's assistant job. In 1998, after two productions, Anabelle signed her first contract as a professional actress and starred in the world premiere of "Wolkenbruch", a two person play, written and directed by Barnie Arnold. During this time she also performed as the singer of the band "Demnaechst Reich", with whom she won an album production and promotion tour through Germany in the national SWR Newcomer Competition "Rockbuster".

In 2001 Anabelle moved to Berlin and worked briefly as a Jazz singer for "Jazz and Entertainment". She then began her formal drama education, under the directorship of Valentin Platereanu, at the renowned Charlottenburg Drama School (Schauspielschule Charlottenburg), the alma mater of a host of international film stars including Alexandra Maria Lara ( The Downfall ). In 2004 Anabelle graduated with an acting diploma and also received a ZBF qualification as the best performer.

During her studies, Anabelle was discovered as a TV actress by the award winning director Thomas Jahn (Knockin' on Heaven's Door) while working as an extra on his prime-time television series Sperling. Jahn offered her her first episode lead in the RTL prime time television series Balko, starring Ludger Pistor. Small parts in international films like The Lives of Others, Measure for Measure and Gangster Kittens, alongside stars like Sebastian Koch, Julian Glover and Jerry Hall soon followed.

In 2004, Anabelle married Huntly Munro in Speyer in between the touring programme of the classic German comedy "Der Froehliche Weinberg". In 2005 she moved with her husband from Berlin to London, where they lived until April 2007. In London, Anabelle starred mainly in independent film productions like "Tiny Town", directed by the award winning director Mathi Alagan. Anabelle played the lead part, Nina Iwanova, in this film, and she is also credited as a writer. During 2006, Anabelle also wrote, directed and acted in her first short film "White Cut", which she co-produced with the upcoming German director Jonas Teitge.

Anabelle Munro is currently residing in New York, where she continues her work as a stage and film actress and as a singer and writer.

In 2007, Munro founded the company "Jameson and Munro", together with her partner Rebecca Jameson. Her first full length feature film, "A Lovescene", is currently in pre-production.
