His work is also part ofMuseo Cubano de Arte y Cultura , Miami, Florida, theMuseum of Art, Fort Lauderdale , Florida and theMiami Art Museum . Cano opened his home studio and assisted the children in expressing themselves creatively with his expert guidance. In previous years Cano has donated several works to the Latin American Art Auction hosted at CIFO by Jackson Memorial Foundation to benefit the International Kids Fund. Once again, in 2008 he donated a piece to be auctioned in October to benefit these philanthropic efforts.
