Darren Roberts (strength & Conditioner, nutritionist)

Darren Roberts "(born 6th October 1972 in Bradford, England)" is a freelance conditioning coach and nutritionist.

He served as a Gunner in the RAF Regiment from 1989-1998. He was a Rapier Missile Operator on 48 Sqn RAF Regiment from 1990-1994, and a parachutist on II Sqn RAF Regiment from 1994-1998.

In 2001 Roberts began working with Red Bull on developing their product in mainstream sport and providing sports science support for Red Bull athletes. Roberts has worked directly with Paul Casey, Jason Gardener, Darren Campbell, Jonathan Rea, Eugene Laverty, Lee McConnell and a number of other athletes in various sports.

He was also the nutritionist for Reading FC for the 2006-2007 season.

Roberts has a diploma in fitness training & sports therapy, a diploma in SAQ training and is a Titleist Level 3 certified fitness trainer.
