Raisa Bogatyrova

__NOTOC__Raisa Vasylivna Bogatyrova ( _uk. Раїса Василівна Богатирьова, _ru. Раиса Васильевна Богатырёва, alternative spellings: "Bogatyreva", "Bogatyryova") (born on January 6, 1953) is a Ukrainian politician. As of April 2008, she is the Secretary of National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, and a deputy of the Ukrainian parliament for the pro-Russian Party of Regions.

Biography

Bogatyrova was born on January 6, 1953 in the city of Bakal, Chelyabinsk Oblast, of the Russian SFSR (then the Soviet Union).

In 1977 she graduated from Kharkiv Medical Institute gaining a doctor's qualification. In 1996 graduated from the Kiev University, specializing in Jurisprudence, qualification - Lawyer, Medical Doctor, professor.

Career

Public work

In 1997-2003, Bogatyrova was the Secretary of the Supervisory Board at the National Fund of Social Protection for Mothers and Children Ukraine to Children.
