Jon DeBus (born
August 31 ,1958 inChicago Heights, Illinois ) was a player, coach and manager inMinor League Baseball .Debus was originally drafted as an
outfielder by theLos Angeles Dodgers in the 21st round of the 1980MLB Draft out ofCollege of St. Francis . He played in the Dodgers minor league system from 1970-1989. After his playing career ended, he became a coach and then a Manager in the Dodgers minor league system. In addition to the below teams, he was the General Manager of theElmira Pioneers from 2000-2001, the Minor League catching coordinator for the Dodgers from 2002-2004 and the bullpen catcher for the Dodgers in 2005. Currently he is on the coaching staff of theOrix Buffaloes in the Japanese leagues.Playing career
