Edgar Iván Solís (born May 5, 1987 in Tepatitlán de Morelos, Jalisco) is a Mexican professional footballer, currently playing as a midfielder for Club Deportivo Guadalajara, wearing jersey #16. He made his debut on August 28, 2005 against Club Santos Laguna. A game which resulted in a 3-0 victory for Santos over Chivas. He has scored 3 goals in his whole career with Chivas. Edgar Solis maybe a potential transfer to Europe in the near future, with his amazing passes, and great ball technique. He has scored one international goal against San Jose from Bolivia in the Copa Santander Libertadores which ended in a 2-0 victory.
