Joona Puhakka

Joona Tapio Puhakka (born June 23, 1982 in Kerava) is a diver from Finland, who competed in two consecutive Summer Olympics for his native country, starting in 2000. He won the bronze medal in the men's 1-metre springboard at the 2003 World Championships.

Puhakka started out as a swimmer. He changed over to the diving platform when this fun sport started to become more interesting than doing lengths of the pool. Puhakka is a product of the Vantaa Swimming Club.
