William Gayley Simpson

William Gayley Simpson

William Gayley Simpson (1892-1991) was an American white supremacist and Neo-Nazi agitator and author. Originally a Franciscan monk for over 10 years, Simpson repudiated many of his previous Christian moorings and embraced the philosophical speculations of Friedrich Nietzsche. Jesus’ message, Simpson believed, was not aimed at the masses, but, quite the contrary, to a small number of exceptional men who would be willing to submit themselves to the rigorous task of actually following Jesus’ teachings. Simpson claimed that the "Aryan race" was this group of superior men, and were responsible for all of the great achievements of Western civilization. His 1978 book "Which Way Western Man?" was republished by National Vanguard Books in 2003.
