- Reema construction
Reema construction is a system of building using
prefabricated reinforced concrete panels which came into being in the late 1940s and was still in use well into the 1960s.Buildings made in this way are currently (2008) very hard to obtain finance on in the UK, primarily due to potential problems with similar large panel system construction buildings, such as
Ronan Point . There are two different types of Reema Construction, Reema Hollow Panel, and Reema Conclad. Owners of Reema Conclad will have a slightly easier time obtaining a mortgage, but many major high street lenders will still not fund purchase of this type of building.ources
