- IEEE Simon Ramo Medal
The IEEE Simon Ramo Medal is an
award for exceptional achievement insystems engineering andsystems science , and was etablished by theIEEE Board of Directors in 1982. The medal is named forSimon Ramo , one of the founders of theTRW corporation. The award itself consists of a gold medal, bronze replica, certificate and honorarium. It may be presented to individuals, or groups of up to three people.
