Charlie Wilson served the Ohio House of Representatives for four terms. Jason Wilson managed all five of his father's successful campaigns at the state level. However, he is also known for mishandling his father's petitions for US Congress in 2006. These petitions were invalidated for not having the 50 signatures needed to have his father listed in the democratic primary ballot. Jason Wilson was fired as campaign manager, but the senior Wilson won the primary handily as a write-in candidate and went on to win in the general election.
