Gigantic (TV series)

Gigantic is an upcoming dramatic television series on the cable channel The N. It is scheduled to premiere in early 2008.It was created by Ben and Deb Wolfinsohn.

Set in the world of Hollywood elite, packed with A-list parties and privilege, Gigantic follows the teenage offspring of the rich and famous as they try to grow up in their parents' shadows. Weaving coming of age stories we can all relate to with pop culture foibles we can only imagine, Gigantic demonstrates how typical embarrassing moments become magnified by fame. Thanks to the paparazzi's everpresent cameras, it doesn't just feel like the whole world is watching: the whole world actually IS.

Every detail in Gigantic , from plot to character arc, has been developed to reflect the bizzare unreality of Hollywood life and America's fascination with it. Gigantic dramatizes real-life events pulled directly from the pages of celebrity rags, gossip blogs and entertainment news shows as well as from interviews with real Hollywood kids, giving it a stamp of authenticity and an "inside" perspective.
