The Young Victoria is a Jean-Marc Vallée film set for 2008 release. It stars Emily Blunt, Miranda Richardson, and Jim Broadbent. The film will also be produced by Graham King, Martin Scorsese, Sarah, Duchess of York and Tim Headington

Production

Scenes set at Westminster Abbey were filmed at Lincoln Cathedral in September and October 2007 [http://www.thisislincolnshire.com/displayNode.jsp?nodeId=156153&command=displayContent&sourceNode=156136&contentPK=18230905&moduleName=InternalSearch&formname=sidebarsearch] , with some scenes already filmed at Blenheim Palace from 23-24 August 2007, Arundel Castle, West Sussex and Belvoir Castle, Leicestershire.

Plot/Synopsis

The film follows on the life of the young Queen Victoria, focusing on her early reign and romance with Prince Albert.
