Gilles Augustin Binya (born August 29, 1984 in Yaoundé) is a footballer from Cameroon, currently defensive midfielder with Portugal's S.L. Benfica.

Binya signed for Sport Lisboa e Benfica in 2007/2008, after playing for three years for Algerian side MC Oran. At the beginning of the season Benfica planned to loan him to C.F. Estrela da Amadora for a year, but with the substitution of Fernando Santos for José Antonio Camacho the deal was cancelled, and Binya remained with the "Reds".

While playing for Benfica in the UEFA Champions' League in October 2007, Binya was shown a straight red card by Swedish referee Martin Hansson, following a dangerous challenge on Celtic's Scott Brown. International career

Binya was first called up to the Cameroon national football team in October 2007 by then national manager Otto Pfister. Subsequently, he went on to represent his country at the 2008 African Cup of Nations, where Cameroon finished second to Egypt. Pfister was also the team's coach.
