Frances Howard (June 4, 1906 – July 2, 1976) was a minor American actress, also the second (2nd) wife of Academy Award-winning producer Samuel Goldwyn.

Biography

Frances was born in Omaha, Nebraska, to James Howard and his wife Maureen Howard, she married Samuel Goldwyn on 23 April 1925 to Samuel's death on January 31 1974, they had 1 son and named him Samuel Goldwyn, Jr.; she then married Robert Stevenson, they had no children. She is the grandmother of John Goldwyn and director Tony Goldwyn.

She died in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, California at the age of 70, she was interred at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Glendale in Glendale, California, buried next to George Cukor, at her request because of her long, but unrequited love for him.

She made 4 films from 1925 to 1935.
