Jimmy Barthmaier

James Richard Barthmaier (born January 6, 1984 in Atlanta, Georgia) is an American professional baseball player. Barthmaier is a pitcher in the Pittsburgh Pirates organization Currently playing for the AAA (Baseball) Indianapolis Indians. He made his Major League Baseball debut on June 27, 2008.

Originally drafted by the Houston Astros in the 13th round (389th overall) of the 2003 Major League Baseball draft, Barthmaier was claimed off waivers by the Pittsburgh Pirates on November 20, 2007.
