At 6'7", Davey was a tallright-handed relief pitcher for four years with theToronto Blue Jays (by|1999),Seattle Mariners (1999), andSan Diego Padres (by|2000-by|2002). Born inGarden City, Michigan , Davey was drafted by the Blue Jays in the 5th round of the 1994 amateur draft. In December by|1996, theBaltimore Orioles claimed Davey in the minor league draft, but returned him to the Blue Jays three months later. Davey pitched in 114 major league baseball games, all of them as a relief pitcher. He accumulated a lifetime record of 7-6, finished 27 games, and had 1 save in 136-2/3 innings pitched.
