Unisun

Unisun Publications is a Bangalore based publication house. It is a division of Unisun Technologies [P] Ltd. It came into being in June 2004. It was founded by Annie Chandy Mathew, who taught English Literature at Mount Carmel College (Bangalore) for 22 years, and her husband P. Chandy Mathew, an IIT Madras and IIM-A alumnus.

The editorial panel currently includes Mary Mathew, former Head of Department, English, Mount Carmel College(Bangalore), Suryakumari Dennison, freelance writer, Department of English, Bishop Cottons(Bangalore), and Gayatri Rao of Lumbini. The publishing house also has a panel of patrons that include former chief secretary Teresa Bhattacharya, theatre personalities Arundhati Raja and Mahesh Dattani.

It has published books of various genres such as short story, travelogue, poetry, drama, fiction, non-fiction, stories for children and educational books. It also organizes the Unisun Creative Writing Competition (in association with the British Council) every year since 2004.
