- Elections in Slovenia
At a national level,
Slovenia elects ahead of state (apresident ) and alegislature . The president is elected for a five year term by the people. The National Assembly ("Državni zbor"), Slovenia'sparliament , has 90 members each elected for four-year terms. All but two of these are elected bymixed member proportional representation system; the remaining two members are elected by ethnic minorities using theBorda count .Slovenia's
