John Bair

John D. Bair is an American actor and stand-up comic.

Born in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania and raised in Rowayton, Connecticut, Bair is the son of Robert and Barbara Bair. John D. Bair studied at The Stella Adler Conservatory of Acting in New York City. Bair trained in comedy at The Manhattan Punchline and The New York Comedy Institute, and honed his skills at New York comedy clubs including Caroline's On Broadway and Don't Tell Mama's. He shared his first performance on "Saturday Night Live" (SNL) with Chris Farley, both newcomers at the time. John has worked in several SNL classics. Bair has been featured on several other sketch shows including "Late Night With Conan O'Brien" and "Upright Citizens Brigade". Bair has been the principal actor in many national commercials and has worked as a stand-in in dozens of film and tv productions including "The Days And Nights Of Molly Dodd", "Sex And The City" and "Cadillac Man". Some of the actors Bair has stood-in for include Kevin Bacon (in "Sleepers"), Robin Williams (in "Mrs. Doubtfire"), Richard Dreyfuss (in "The Crew"), George Eads (in "Grapevine") and Sean Astin (in Safe Passage). In January 2008 Bair completed work in The International (film) which has a scheduled release date of February 20th, 2009. http://www.everybodypays.com/.
