Boyndie is a village in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. [United Kingdom Ordnance Survey, 2004] There are significant prehistoric features extant in the general area including Longman Hill long barrow and Cairn Lee, [C.M.Hogan, 2008] both situated somewhat to the east on the coastal plain.
