"Anisoptera grossivenia" is a species of plant in the Dipterocarpaceae family. The name "grossivenia" is derived from Latin ("grossus" = an unripe fig and "venius" = veined) and refers to the purple lateral veins of the leaf blade. "A. grossivenia" is a tall emergent tree, up to 60 m, found in mixed dipterocarp forest and its ecotone to kerangas forests (Ashton 2004). It is endemic to Borneo. It occurs in at least two protected areas (Bako National Park and Lambir National Park), elsewhere it is endangered due to habitat loss.
