Post made his first-team debut for
FC Elva at the age of 16 in 2001, as defender. After two seasons in Elva, he moved toJK Viljandi Tulevik . At the age of 19, Sander started his professional career withFC Flora Tallinn , Estonia's biggest club, in 2004. In the same season he had short spell withJK Tervis Pärnu , he played there 19 times, scoring 8 goals.On June 16, 2005, Post signed for Danish 1st Division club
