Wonder Matenje is a Zimbabwe cyclist. He was previously involved with
Roger De Vlaeminck in the Zimbabwe U23 Cyclo Cross Team. He raced in the Giro Del Capo in South Africa in 1998 and in 2007 represented his country, Zimbabwe at the 2007 African mountainbike championships that were held in Windhoek, Namibia. He placed 12th in the pro elite men's race at the championships. In doing so he greatly improved Zimbabwes chances of qualifying for the 2008 Olympic games to be held in China.Interesting fact : In 2007 Matenje and the Zimbabwe Mountain Bike team created history when they became the very first Zimbabwe Mountain Bike team to race in an official UCI international race when they competed at the 2007 UCI African MTB Championship that was held in Windhoek Namibia.
