Aggie Mack is a
Newspaper comic strip created byHal Rasmusson in 1946. It featured in theChicago Tribune until the end of the 1950s. The strip is about the life of teenagers, somewhat similar to theArchie comics . The star being a cute blonde named Aggie The series was taken over byRoy Fox after Rasmusson's death in 1962. In 1966, the name of the strip was shortened to "Aggie". The strip was cancelled in 1971. Fox replaced it with another strip about a younger girl named "Tweety Pie" who looked like Aggie, but had a rather tough personality. France , where it first appeared in "Fillettes " in 1947. In 1960, Gérard Alexandre, who signed with the pseudonym AL.G., created a French version of the strip based on "Aggie Mack" and called it simply "Aggie".References
