Lowsonford

Lowsonford

Lowsonford is a small village in Warwickshire which lies 4 miles north-east of Henley-in-Arden. The most famous of its buildings is the 'Fleur de Lys' pub which is known for its meat pies. The Stratford-upon-Avon Canal runs through the village and there are several locks. Every two years there is a Flower Show which is run jointly with the neighbouring settlement of Rowington which holds it in the other years. The village hall was built in 1936 and its main room can seat 75 people. There is also a smaller room and a bar. The village church is dedicated to St Luke.
