Judy Winslow is the third and final short-lived child of Carl and
Harriette Winslow , and she has two older siblings: sisterLaura Winslow and brotherEddie Winslow . She was known for following along in the schemes with her big sister, Laura, her hatred of vegetables, and bickering with her cousin,Richie Crawford .Judy's absence
In 1992, as the series was entering its fourth season, Judy started to become more of a background character than a supporting character. She had very few lines in each episode, if she even appeared at all. At this point she only appeared in episodes because of contractual obligations.Fact|date=July 2008 Foxworth was let go when her mother made demands that Judy Winslow be developed in order to get Foxworth more money.Fact|date=July 2008 Those demands were denied and Judy was cut from the series. The show then went on for the rest of its run as though she never existed, leaving 2 children of The Winslow Family: Eddie and Laura. Child characters on the show were later portrayed by
Bryton McClure from 1993-1996 andOrlando Brown as orphan "3J," whom the Winslows adopted in 1996.The writers of "Family Matters" were interested in bringing the character of Judy back if the show had been renewed by CBS for a 10th season in 1998; she would have been played by
Valerie Jones . [ [http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0429407 IMDB] ]References
