Giovanni Battista Buonocore

Giovanni Battista Buonocore (1643- 22 May, 1699) was an Italian painter of the Baroque.

He was born in Campli in Abruzzo. He trained under Pier Francesco Mola. He traveled from Lombardy to Venice, then Florence, then finally to Rome. He painted an altar-piece for the Chiesa degli Orfanelli at Rome. He became a member of the Accademia di San Luca in Rome. His biography was narrated by Leone Pascoli.
