Elections in the Republic of Macedonia

Elections in the Republic of Macedonia gives information on election and election results in the Republic of Macedonia.

The Republic of Macedonia elects on national level a head of state - the president - and a legislature. The president is elected for a five year term by the people. The Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia ("Sobranie") has 120 members, elected for a four year term, by proportional representation. The Republic of Macedonia has a multi-party system, with numerous parties in which no one party often has a chance of gaining power alone, and parties must work with each other to form coalition governments.
