Albert Proud (born 6 September 1988) is an Australian rules football player for the Brisbane Lions. Proud is a Queenslander of Indigenous Australian origin.

He was taken by the Brisbane Lions in the 2006 AFL Draft, with a reputation of being a solid, hardworking midfielder with the ability to kick goals, drawing early comparisons to Byron Pickett.

After a 6 goal performance for the Suncoast Lions, Proud was called up into the senior side in round 12 against Geelong.
