January 12 1945 –April 1 1986 ), was an American actor.He is best remembered for his iconic portrayal of "Cotton" in the 1971 film, "Bless the Beasts and Children". Robins' career also included television and stage roles.
At the time of his death, he was living at 7768 Hollywood Blvd, in Hollywood, Calif. He continued to be involved in show busines. At the time he learned of his disease, he flew to Paris to be treated by the same doctors who had treated Rock Hudson, all of this happened at the height of AIDS epidemic and very little was known about treatments that exist today.
After he did the film Bless the Beasts and Children, he moved to New York for more than a year and pursued opportunities on Broadway but nothing substantial developed.
He died of
AIDS -related complications in 1986 at the age of 41.External links
