Ian A. Cook, MD is physician-researcher at
UCLA , serving as an Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences at theUCLA School of Medicine , Director of the [http://Depression.ucla.edu UCLA Depression Research Program] , and Associate Director of the [http://brain.ucla.edu UCLA Laboratory of Brain, Behavior, and Pharmacology] . He graduated fromPrinceton University before going to theYale University School of Medicine where he received hisMD degree. He completed his residency training inpsychiatry at UCLA before joining the faculty and becomingABPN board certified in psychiatry. He is also a research scientist in the UCLA Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior (formerly the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute) and in the UCLABrain Research Institute (BRI).His work has largely focused on the care of
mental illnesses and disorders of complex human behavior.
