"När vindarna viskar mitt namn" (When Spirits Are Calling My Name), was the Swedish entry for the Eurovision Song Contest in the year 2000. Sweden were hosting the contest that year, because Charlotte Nilsson had won the contest in 1999 with "Take Me To Your Heaven". . Roger Pontare had taken part in the contest in 1994, singing a duet with Marie Bergman, which finished thirteenth.

Roger Pontare appeared dressed as an American Indian for both his Eurovision appearances. For his solo appearance in 2000, he was joined on stage by an Indian dancer, a Thule Eskimo and a Norwegian Sami. The song was about indigenous people fighting to protect their country, and at the song's climax, flames erupted from two vents at the front of the stage. The song finished seventh, with 88 points.

"När vindarna viskar mitt namn" was also released as a single in the year 2000, which sold Swedish platina (30 000 copies). The single peaked at #3 at the Swedish singles chart. On April 22 2000, the song directly entered Svensktoppen, where it stayed for two rounds. On May 6 2000 the song was down at the third place after peaking for two weeks. On August 5 2000 the song was 9th, being at the list for 16th at last time.

Swedish bands Ultima Thule and HammerFall later covered "När vindarna viskar mitt namn".
