The D-Word is the longest-running online platform in the documentary industry. It was founded in 1999 in

September 11, 2001 attacks . The D-Word has been criticized for this restrictive approach and for the use of an outdated conferencing platform. The hosts reacted to this by adding public discussions and building their own
