The Someşul Cald River is a headwater of the Someşul Mic River in Romania. It joins the Someşul Rece River in Lake Gilău

Lakes Mărişelu, Tarniţa and Someşul Cald are located on this river.

The Tarniţa - Lăpuşteşti Hydropower Plant began construction on the river on June 15 2008.
