Cordillera Regional Science High School (CRSHS) is a school found in La Trinidad, Benguet, Cordillera Administrative Region, Philippines. It is where selected and deserving students of Cordillera are studying. Considered as one of the most prestigious schools in the Cordilleras, the CRSHS was founded in November 18 on the Philippine school year 1994-1995.

History
The Cordillera Regional Science High School (CRSHS) is among the eleven Regional Science High Schools established in the country in school year 1994-1995 by virtue of DECS ordre No. 69,s. 1993.
Cordillera Regional Science High School (CRSHS) is a Science High School which is operated and supervised by the Department of Education just like all other Regional Science High Schools in the country. It is also dependent on funds provided by the Department of Education and not the Department of Science and technology (DOST0, as it was a popular misconception.
CRSHS started its is operation in school year 1994-1995 with all enrolment of eighty six first year students. it operated under its mother school – the Benguet National High School - until R.A No. 8376 authored by then Congressman Ronald M. Cosalan entitled “ An Act Establishing the Cordillera Regional Science High School in La Trinidad, Benguet and Appropriating funds Thereof” was approved on November 13, 1997.
From June 1994 to December 1998, CRSHS has been using the Benguet School Teacher's Association (BSTA) building in the barangay hall & warehouse at the Puguis Elementary School Site for its classes.
On January 4, 1999 CRSHS transferred to its present site, which was donated by the Provincial Government of Benguet.[1]
Objectives
the Cordillera Regional Science High School has set a number of objective for the students in accordance to school discipline and educational structure.[2]
1. To ensure access of all intellectually gifted and science inclined students in the Region to the Cordillera Regional Science High School.
2. To further the development of science culture among the students.
3. To prepare students for a career in the sciences.
4. To improve the quality of basic education and increase the competency and skills of students.
5. To increase the school’s efficiency, effectiveness and economy.
6. To increase the number and quality of student researchers.
7. To create programs for student’s participation to the clean and green program of the community.
8. To foster deeper appreciation of Filipino Values, Culture, Arts and Sports.
9. To provide opportunities for functional and sustainable PTCA programs and projects.
School Curriculum
The Cordillera Regional Science High School (CRSHS) implements the curriculum for Regional Science High School prescribed by Department of Education, which is different from the 2003 Basic Education Curriculum (BEC). The CRSHS curriculum is enriched with Science, Mathematics and English subjects although Filipino, MAPE and TLE are also included in the curriculum. For Technology Livelihood and Economics (TLE) the only component offered is computer education and it is only given to the first and second year students.
Organization of the curriculum
The Cordillera Regional Science High School curriculum is prescribed by the Dep-Ed central office. The SY 2003-2004 is the first year of implementation of the 2003 Revised Curriculum for Regional Science High Schools. It is being implemented in the First Year level. The old students are left to graduate with the old Regional Science High School Curriculum.
The main differences between the old and new curriculum are the time allotment and elective subjects.
Indigenization of the Curriculum
Indigenization of the curriculum at Cordillera Regional science High School (CRSHS) comes in the form of activities being designed to match the needs and interest of the students especially when it comes to cultural practices, historical events, and current events. For other subject matters, the teacher stick to the prescribe curriculum.

Physical Facilities
Land
Cordillera Regional Science High School (CRSHS) stands on a lot Area of 1,732 square meters which is adjacent to the Dep-Ed, CAR Regional office. The lot was donated by the Provincial government of Benguet through Governor Raul M. Molintas.
Building
There are two (2) Primary buildings, (1) Laboratory Complex and one (1) Extension Building. The two Primary buildings consists of eight (8) classrooms utilized for classes, one (1) science laboratory room (1) computer room, one (1)faculty room, two (2) offices, two (2) female comfort rooms, and two (2) male comfort rooms. In Programs and other events, the 3 classrooms of the first floor of the first building can be merged to form a Multi-Purpose hall. The Laboratory Complex consists of the Physics Laboratory and the Chemistry Laboratory used by the students.
Equipment
Cordillera Regional Science High School is among the few School in CAR that has various school equipment (Please see appendix B). Aside from the equipment received from other agencies, Dep-Ed CAR, and the Division office of Benguet, it had been receiving a special MOOE fund of 2 million per year from CY 1997 to CY 2002. The amount has been used to purchase Science, Math and English equipment.
Based from the Regional Science High School manual issued by Dep-Ed, the maximum number of students per class is thirty six (36).[3]
