Jesús Andrés Padilla (born March 3, 1987 in San Jose, California) also known as "El Gringo,"Fact|date=September 2008 is a Mexican-American professional footballer, currently playing as a midfielder for Chivas de Guadalajara, wearing jersey #15. He made his debut August 8, 2006 against Toluca. A game which resulted in a 1-0 victory for Toluca.

Padilla is currently the subject of controversy in Mexico due to the recent discovery of his US birth certificate and the policy of the Mexican club of not employing "foreign" players.
