Loschwitz is a district of
Dresden ,Germany . It is a villa quarter located in the north of the riverElbe , which used to be a spa. In the north of it there is the districtWeißer Hirsch ,Blasewitz in the south,Wachwitz in the east, and the Rosengarten in the west of Loschwitz. Loschwitz is connected with Blasewitz by the bridgeBlue Wonder (Blaues Wunder).A very popular place for tourists in Loschwitz, which is located on two hillsides, is the gazebo Luisenhof. There is the oldest endless rope haulage system and the oldestsuspension railway of the world, which are still in use. A famous inhabitant was
