Sound, Cheshire

Sound is a hamlet (at SJ 619 483) and civil parish in the Crewe and Nantwich district of Cheshire, England. The village is located miles to the south west of Nantwich. The parish also includes the settlements of Newtown and Sound Heath. [ [http://www.ukbmd.org.uk/genuki/chs/sound.html Genuki: Sound] (accessed 14 August 2007)] Nearby villages include Aston, Ravensmoor and Wrenbury. The Welsh Marches railway line runs northsouth through the parish and the A530 runs along its south-east edge.
