Ravindra Patil

Ravindra Patil (Ravindra Bhaiya Patil) (Marathi: रविन्द्र प्रल्हाद्राव पाटील) (born March 13, 1955) is a politician from Jalgaon, Maharashtra, India.

Introduction:

He is known to be a very staunch supporter of The Maratha strongman Sharadraoji Pawar, he has held various offices in Government as well as Co-operative establishments. Currently he is the President of The Nationalist Congress Party for Jalgaon District, Maharashtra. He is also known to be close to Hon. Pratibha Tai Patil.and also a social worker.

As the President of Nationalist Congress Party for Jalgaon District. Also, he has successfully served, twice as the President of Zilla Parishad,Has been the Chairman and Director of various Co-operative Marketing Federations Both regionally as well as Nationally.

Political history

Although a Lawyer by profession, he always wanted to take politics as his career. He entered Politics in the early 1980's.

He was Elected as the Director of the Jalgaon District Co-operative Bank and soon became vice-president of the bank,

He was then elected as the Member and President of Jalgaon Zilla Parishad in 1991-92.

Patil was again elected as the President of Zilla Parishad in 1998.

He has also served as the director and president various co-operative federations both regionally and nationally.

Patil was appointed as the President of the Nationalist Congress Party for Jalgaon District in 2006.
