Starting from mid-2008, Football Channel also features the Japan Football League, the German Bundesliga and the La Liga. Pre-match reviews, half-time and full-time analysis of live Premier League games are mainly hosted by Joe Morrison, with usually 2 guest appearances. A regular is John Burridge, affectionately known as Budgie and is famed for his time at Aston Villa.

History

Launched in 11 August , 2007, Starhub decided to create Football Channel, a channel fully dedicated to football, as they had won the rights to broadcast live Premier League games over ESPN Star Sports. The channel is featured on the Sports Package of Starhub Cable TV. Several people have criticized this channel, citing issues of its coverage and programmes being inferior to ESPN Star Sports.
