This species is endemic to the

The shell of this species is similar to that of "
Alcithoe swainsoni " but with a tall narrow spire, a long narrow aperture, and no columellar callus plate.The shell coloration is yellowish-brown with very faint brownish zigzag markings.
The shell height is up to 177 mm, and the width is up to 64 mm.
