Angel Albino Corzo International Airport (TGZ) is a new international airport located at Mexican municipal of [Chiapa de Corzo] , Chiapas, Mexico.It currently now operates as a Domestic airport. It does not have a custom or Immigration office at the time. It handles national and international air traffic for the city of Tuxtla Gutiérrez. It was inaugurated by President Vicente Fox and by the State's Governor Pablo Salazar Mendiguchia in May 15, 2006, replacing the Francisco Sarabia National Airport. It's operated by "Sociedad Operadora del Aeropuerto Internacional Ángel Albino Corzo, S.A. de C.V.", a government-owned corporation.
The airport comprises a concrete runway, a parallel taxiway, several hangars, a commercial aviation apron, a general aviation apron, a military base, and a state-of-the-art commercial terminal equipped with 6 glass-jetways, 2 of which are capable of handling medium-large aircraft such as the Boeing 767 and Airbus A330 aircrafts.
