Jason Crummey

Jason Crummey is a Newfoundland author and writer.

Crummey, born in Old Perlican, Trinity Bay on the northeast Coast of Newfoundland. Jason Crummey is a grandson of P.W. Crummey who was a member of the Newfoundland National Convention in 1947. P.W. Crummey visited Canada's Parliament as one of seven Newfoundland government representatives to negotiate the Terms of Union between Newfoundland and Canada.

Jason Crummey graduated from Gonzaga High School and from Memorial University of Newfoundland with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He is the author of "Pirates of Newfoundland"; a history and folklore of piracy in Newfoundland and Labrador from 1500 to 1729. ISBN 0-9739796-0-7
