Laurie Fowler (born 29 December 1951) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for Richmond and Melbourne in the VFL during the 1970s.

Fowler debuted for Richmond in 1971 and soon made a name for himself as a tough and physical player. In the opening minutes of the 1973 grand final he felled Carlton captain-coach John Nicholls, causing Nicholls to play the rest of the game with double vision and helping Richmond to win the premiership. They made the grand final the following year but after Fowler was omitted from the game he chose to transfer to Melbourne. He was a back to back best and fairest winner with Melbourne in 1979 and 1980 and also represented Victoria at interstate football.

Contract disputes caused Fowler to leave the Demons in 1982 and he instead spent the season in the VFA with Waverley. He then became captain-coach of Springvale and led them to the 2nd division flag in 1983.
