(2008)"If I Can't Dance" is a pop song written by Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Dimitri Tikovoi for Ellis-Bextor's third album, "Trip the Light Fantastic" (2007). It was scheduled to be released as the album's fourth single in late 2007. The song got its first live performance on the BBC1 Saturday Night Show, "Dance X", where Sophie performed the track live. However, with the initial release date of the Greatest Hits changed to March (now to be released sometime after her fourth album due in September) and the inclusion of this song in the St Trinians films Sophie left the option of releasing the single open.

Finally, after many rumours about the possibility of a release, the track has been released digitally in Spain and in Portugal.
