"First Time" is singer Robin Beck's first significant charthit, released in 1988. It was originally recorded for a Coca-Cola commercial the sameyear and subsequently released as a single. The single topped the UK singles chart for oneweek in November and also topped the chart in Germany a year later. It remains her
signature song.
In 2003, the song was covered by Unique who achieved a minor success in Switzerland.
In 2006, Sunblock, an electronic music group from Sweden recorded a cover ofthe song with Robin Beck for their second single and it became theirsecond Top 10 hit, charting at #9 on the UK Singles Chart (see 2006 in British music).
