Reservoir Football Club

The Reservoir Football Club is an Australian rules football club founded in 1923 and is located in the northern suburbs of Melbourne, Victoria. The club initially competed in the Bourke-Evelyn, Diamond Valley, Metropolitan, and Panton Hill leagues before returning to the DVFL (now known as the Northern Football League in 1981 where the club has remained since.

The club has a strong junior affiliate called the Reservoir Colts which has won several under-age premierships in DVFL and the Preston District Junior League.

The club was produced many fine footballers, including Ross Lyon - the current coach of St Kilda in the Australian Football League.

Following a shortage of players for season 2007, the Reservoir Football Club went into recess but is working hard to resume fielding senior and reserve grade teams in 2008.
