USS PC-1129

USS "PC-1129" was launched at Defoe Shipbuilding Company in Bay City, Michigan in early 1943.

"PC-1129" was sunk on 31 January 1945 by a Japanese suicide boat off the coast of Luzon in the Philippines.

"PC-1129" was one of just three major ships that were lost during World War II that were built at Defoe Shipbuilding Company; the others being USS "Rich" (DE-695) and the United States Coast Guard Cutter "Escanaba" (WPG-77).
